Knotford Reopening

Update: Knotford will reopen at 12pm on September 1st.

A number of changes have been made to help protect the fishery, particularly around ensuring that members use the dip tanks for all nets, mats and slings.

Any member found in breach of rule 54c will immediately have their yearbook removed.

Following a suspected outbreak of KHV at another fishery in the local area, our lake at Knotford has been closed as a precaution from Friday 31st July 2026 for a short period. A further update will be posted when reopened.

We wish to make clear that this is only as a precautionary measure to reduce the risk of spread to our lake.

As always, we remind all anglers to follow good biosecurity measures when fishing at any venue. All nets, slings and unhooking mats should be dried in direct sunlight between fishing at different venues. Where available, dip tanks should also be used to soak nets, slings and mats on arrival.
