Three quality specimen carp have been stocked into Knotford in the last month - weighing 25lbs, 26lbs and 27lbs. These fish will compliment an already incredible stock at the lake, which boasts two fish over 50lbs and dozens of fish over the 30lbs mark. They come from the same fast growing strain of fish that have been successful in recent years.
This stocking continues our long term investment in the fishery. Already this year we've replaced the fencing along two banks to protect the fish stocks, thanks many hours of voluntary work by members. We've also felled a number of trees which were becoming unsafe to protect members.
