Black Heath Lake (above)
A four acre natural lake where each peg has a feature. Some of the
largest carp in the club can be found in this water, feeding off the
plentiful
supplies of bloodworm beds. A beautiful water, away from general traffic,
but easily accessible by car with average walks to pegs. Bream and Tench
are the heaviest stocked fish. In 2004 0ver 1,100 tench were stocked,
2002 saw Roach and Rudd stocked.

Figure 8 Lake
Similar to the Black Heath lake, the banks of the two lakes
are merely meters apart. Tackle needs to be heavy due to the specimen
carp and tench,
plus there are numerous snags. Each peg again has a feature and careful
plumbing to find drops and shelves returns dividends to 100lb
pleasure bags
Both lakes are permit waters
Permit Water Conditions
1. Not more than 3 dates to be applied for at any one time
2. Applications to be made with the Assistant Secretary 7 days before
required date
3. members must not apply for permits until the last date on their permit
expires
This
water is very heavily bailiffed, fishing without a permit on this
water will lead to an immediate ban.
