This
water was purchased during 2002, from the landowner who
previously rented the water to a local syndicate.
The water varies from 6 to 18 feet and is covered
by heavy tree and foliage around the edges. Parking
is near and safe and well open.
no day ticket available. The fishery is best described
as an aquarium as all types of fish are present. Carp
run to double figures and some large bream have been stocked.
It is best to avoid setting up around the small inlet
to fish, as later plumbing of the water may find depths
to only 14 inch. It is misleading on 1st impression, that
this water holds upto 100 Carp all over 10lbs, Chub well
over 4lb, Ide over 2.5lb, and Bream to 6lb. Perch and
small Roach can be caught with the float touching the
Dam wall at nearly all the pegs. Platforms have recently
been errected at the water, making total pegs 12.
